Freed Pointe Shoes | A photo shoot for 4dancers

MY PHOTOS ON 4DANCERS.ORG

I’m not sure how many of you have tuned in to my monthly dance photography posts on 4dancers.org, but I’d love for you to check them out. On the last day of each month, I write a post called “Finis” and share some dance photos—the stories behind the pictures, why they inspire me, how they’ve succeeded or failed… It’s been a blast so far, and some posts have sparked some great conversation on Twitter, in the comments and beyond.

Recently, I had the opportunity to collaborate with 4dancers.org founder Catherine L. Tully on a series of posts about Freed pointe shoes. I went to the Freed store to photograph some of their impressive line of shoes and then photographed a student fitting for a School of American Ballet dancer.

It was a lot of fun, and Catherine’s posts are fascinating and educational. Take a look.
